Things I never thought I'd say

I often find myself saying things that I never thought I'd- usually very weird or funny things. I think this happens often to adults. Not kids, kids say weird or funny stuff all the time, so none of it really makes sense. Adults say "unexpected" stuff, though. Stuff like "if you're going to bleed, don't do it on the carpet" and "Katie, please don't shove cheerios up your brother's nose". As someone who really, really loves all things science, I also say weird science-related stuff. What got me thinking about stuff I never thought I'd say was science. I told someone today that mitochondria are my favorite organelles. Because I know EVERYONE has a favorite cellular organelle, right?
